I am so stoked right now.  I’ve got some awesome Christmas gift ideas in this Denmark gift special. The best part is, this Denmark Christmas gift list includes some popular Danish design brands like Georg Jensen, Normann Copenhagen, Royal Copenhagen and Rosendahl – and all of them cost less than 100 Danish kroner!

While I’ve been thinking of doing a Christmas gift guide focused on Denmark, the idea for the ‘gifts under 100 kr’ post came from one of my readers, Eliza. After reading my Danish Gifting Etiquette Guide, she asked if I could suggest some gifts that cost between 50-100 kr. And I thought; now that’s a fun challenge to take up. It was fun finding these gems. My favourites are:

- Box Quiz on Copenhagen: 50 questions on different topics; 2 can play this game. They even have some on Denmark, Danish design and chocolates!
- December Tales winter ornament from Georg Jensen: It’s like a mini winter wonderland
- Diabolix bottle opener by Alessi: Look that cheeky grin

What a lovely collection. The Herstal leona bowls are my favourite. I love the shape and the blue colour. I had to go look up how much 100 kr was, it turns out it is currently $18.70 Canadian :-)

Thanks Anne. I think the Herstal blue ones are fairly far I've mainly seen them in red and orange. And yes, we don't use the Euro I'm guessing a lot of readers will have to check how much 100 danish kroner is! And as you've probably guessed/heard, things are fairly expensive here. Especially if you compare it how much the same kind of stuff might cost in the US/Canada. But the design and quality is always that's a plus:-)
