We spent our Easter break in Aarhus and we had a chance to visit the Moesgaard Museum there (one of the best I’ve visited in Denmark!) I've discovered that museum shops are a perfect place to find stuff that's unique...especially books for kids. This time, I chanced upon some lovely stationery by Johanna Basford.
You might know of Johanna Basford from her Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest adult colouring books. I love her colouring books but they can be a bit overwhelming in scope for some. Sometimes I think they’re so beautiful that I might just ruin them by colouring in! You you can get help from the maestro herself via the tutorials she shares on her blog though.
Johanna Basford’s Notecards on the other hand are these perfect little note cum greeting cards that you can finish colouring in just five minutes! This one is a set of 12 notecards in four different patterns from her Secret Garden series. It comes with a set of envelopes and the space to write your own message or note inside. Here's one I attempted.
While I bought this one for myself, I think it would make a lovely little gift for stationery lovers. It’s such a simple way of personalizing a store-bought note card or greeting card. Johanna also has a series of Enchanted Forest Postcards and Secret Garden Postcards. And coming up in May 2016, is her Lost Ocean Postcard series that comes with 36 gorgeous postcards. I's probably never post any of them!
For those of you in Denmark, you can aslo get these on Saxo.
