It happens every year. As soon as the calendar says March, folks in Denmark shed their winter coats and don on their spring jackets. So what if it’s still gloomy and dreary for the most part. So what if the temperature is still in the lower single digits. I love this optimism and this way of looking forward to a new season. It’s rubbing off on me.

I’m getting major spring vibes here. And in keeping with those, I’m sharing my picks for some simple gift inspiration from Søstrene Grene’s Spring Collection 2016. While the collection features a whole host of home décor inspiration – coffee tables, rugs, chairs – I’ve picked out some smallish pieces that would make for good gifts.

I’m loving their glazed ceramic collection featuring bowls, flower pots, lidded jars and vases. Pair up one of the ceramic jars with a small plant or succulent and you’ve got a simple but lovely hostess gift.

Perhaps one of these oak cutting boards as a housewarming gift? The leather handle is nice touch.

These wall-mounted lamps are sure to add a dash of fun and colour to any room.  Another housewarming gift idea.

Or dress up your gifts in one of these recycled gift boxes. Loving the colours on these.

These are all so pretty! The recycled gift boxes are my favourite. They're adorable and so practical, plus they're eco-friendly. *swoon*
