Calling all stationery and adult colouring book lovers. I've got you one more beauty to drool over!
The Coloring Notebook team recently contacted me, asking if I'd like to review their Coloring Notebook. If you haven't guessed already, it's a notebook and a colouring book for adults -- the kind of stuff that get's me excited.
So here's what I thought of it.
The colouring pages have been created by artists from Australia, Canada, France, Italy, US, Ukraine and Japan. And it's apparent in the whimsical mix of illustrations and patterns.
I quite like that the book offers a mix of both simple and easy drawings alongside some rather intricate ones. Take your pick depending on what you feel like doing on any given day.
The ColoringNotebook comes in three paper options - blank, ruled and dot grid. The book I received had lined sheets interspersed with 50 colouring pages.
And the colouring pages are fun! One of the artists is definitely a cat lover as you can see from the cat illustrations.
Some of them reference pop culture. Like this one with Godzilla in it. And this blast from the past. Remember the floppy disks of yore?
If you're a colouring pro, you might know what colouring pencils and pens work best. Bit in the colouring pages I attempted, I just used a mix of ordinary colouring pencils, sketch pens and glitter pens.
While the paper quality is good, the sketch pen marks do show up on the reverse. This was my only gripe.
I think this is a lovely gift for colouring and stationery lovers. You can buy the Coloring Notebook via their website or via Amazon. They ship worldwide and shipping is free when you order via their website.
